I believe...
"God is in the slums, in the cardboard boxes where the poor play house. God is in the silence of a mother who has infected her child with a virus that will end both their lives. God is in the cries heard under the rubble of war. God is in the debris of wasted opportunity and lives, and God is with us if we are with them." - Bono
If I was not afraid, I would dream the biggest dreams. I would speak my mind freely with no qualms. I would fight for change. Without fear, I would be unstoppable. I would save the world. I believe without fear, I could change the hearts and minds of millions, and help end the devastating demise of humanity. If I was fearless, I would travel the world. I would speak to the people who are less fortunate than me, and learn the fears of their hearts. I would help to alleviate their fears, by promoting change and savior from their hell. Without fear, I would leave the comforts of my own home to experience the displacement of others who have no luxuries. I would tell their story and raise awareness to their plight. I would dream with no abandon. Fearlessly, I would look devil in the eyes and show him how powerful my God truly is. I would fight guns and death with words of power. I would love more, talk less, say more, listen better, and hate less. Once I've conquered my fears, I would think less of how people perceive me, and more about how I perceive myself. I would fight for the freedom of all who are experiencing rape, abductions, murder and displacement each day. I would fight for those who fight for their lives everyday. Without fear, I would be a voice for change, and Save the World.
I believe change is a process that starts with one person. Recently, I was exposed to the plight of Ugandan children who are torn from their homes, murdered and raped due to a 20 year civil war. I want to begin a nonprofit that opens the eyes of the blind American public and legislation, so that one day, Africa could be a peaceful utopia. I want to encourage youths and college age students to voice their opinions and speak for what's right in the world. We have faced many wars in our time as a country. In time we have been able to end slavery, desegregate our nation, and achieve near equality between genders and races. Our country has a power that's buried deep within the hearts of the people, that once unleashed could change the world and save the world. I want to change the world by raising the power we hold and putting an end to the devastation in the world; devastation we would never allow in our own country. I don't believe that America is any better than any other country, and for that reason every country the big and the small should be allowed to have freedom and a voice to be heard. I will change the world, alone or with many, by speaking one word at a time, until every one has heard - WE NEED TO SAVE OUR WORLD.
Words only hurt if you give them power... We have men fighting in other countries to protect our freedom; freedom to speak and live our lives.... so don't let their lives and fighting be in vain... SPEAK FOR WHATS RIGHT... SPEAK YOUR MIND... SPEAK FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T....
BE A VISIONARY VOICE FOR CHANGE
